About JR Briggs PTA

The John R. Briggs PTA is a volunteer organization made up of parents and teachers who work co-operatively to enhance the quality and quantity of activities and resources available at the John R. Briggs School. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their time to help teachers in and out of the classroom with a special focus on the cooperative development of exciting educational events for the children. PTA considers all parents and teachers to be "members" of the PTA and welcomes input from all. There is a yearly registration which is used to identify people who wish to be "active" members.
